Weapons is a series of twenty-one drawings that focus upon the manipulation of information in digital environments. Beginning with found photographs of historical artifacts, source materials are digitally altered, amalgamated and recomposed to create new objects that are unknown and difficult to accurately place.

Beautifully rendered in pencil on paper, the resulting compositions use the clarity and allure of photorealism to validate the layers of misinformation that have been created.

Isolated in a void of negative space, these purposefully ahistorical objects are surrounded by thousands of dark, semi-reflective vertical pencil marks; a sequence of traces that is indicative of the passing of time and the infinite digital expanse.
